How do I use the digital student-ID feature?
Using the digital student-ID feature on Studiz is super easy! Here's a step-by-step guide:
1. To gain access to student-ID, you'll need to verify your student status within the Studiz app. If you’re not sure how to do that, read more in the “Verified student status” section of the FAQ.
2. Additionally, you'll need to upload a picture that will be used for your student-ID. The picture has to comply with your actual apperance and only depicts face and shoulders. Your eyes have to be open, not covered by hair or glasses and turned towards the camera. Picture also needs to be taken directly from the front, with even lighting and on a solid coloured background.
3. When you're out and about, and need to prove your student status to claim a local discount, simply open the Studiz app and navigate to your digital student-ID.
Remember, having your digital student-ID in the Studiz app means you always have proof of your student status right in your pocket, making it convenient and hassle-free to access student discounts wherever you go!

The picture on my digital student-ID is not like I want it to be. What do I do?
If you wish to change your student-ID image, you can do that in your profile inside the Studiz app. You can crop and zoom the uploaded image when you upload it. Please note, that in order to avoid misuse of the service, is it only possible to upload a picture once in 90 days.
I can't change my picture. What do I do?
During the initial creation of your digital student card, you were asked to upload a picture. The frequency of picture changes is typically determined by your institution, often set at approximately 90 days.
If you want to update your picture outside of this designated interval, you have the option to reach out to your institution or our support team for help.

Why do I have to specify where I want to use my student-ID?
Certain shops and institutions use functionality that activates when you specify the context of your student-ID usage.
Additionally, we gather data on discount usage to optimize algorithms. This allows us to provide you with the most popular discounts and negotiate additional discounts within categories that are of most interest to students.

The shop that I want to use my student-ID in is not on the list. What do I do?
In the student-ID’s search field, you can type the name of the shop where you want to use your student-ID. If the shop is not listed on Studiz, you still have the option of activating your student-ID there. You can do this by clicking on the blue text that appears when you have searched for a store. Additionally, it will also send us a tip about the place, so that we can add it to the list and your fellow students can benefit from it as well.
I do not want to specify a shop - I just want to see my student-ID. What do I do?
You can always find your institution in the list and you select it, if you do not want to specify a shop or you can't find it on the list.
